In TCM the two diseases share the common trait of chronic diarrhea.  Depending upon your TCM differential diagnosis, you may or may not be given herbs.  A modification of diet including congee (rice porridge) and the elimination of any offending foods (spicy, greasy, etc.) would most likely be included in a course of treatment.
