Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI)

Repetitive stress injuries are also considered overuse injuries.  Any time we engage in a movement that is repetitive we are placing stress on the same muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues.  Over time, the stress created doing repetitive motion can lead to a repetitive stress injury (RSI).  This is especially common in repetitious fine motor movements like typing.  Carpel tunnel syndrome (CTS) is considered a repetitive stress injury.
