Chronic Injury

Many active people have a sports injury in their past causing an area of susceptibility or weakness.  Many people complain of a “bum knee” or “bum shoulder.”  There is a considerable amount of progress to be made with an old injury.  For starters, often there is scar tissue that surrounds the injury. Acupuncture can help release and soften the tougher scars, making range of motion easier.  Liniments, internal herbs, acupuncture, stretching, and massage are all common ways to treat an old injury.
